Decent CCW Solution – Recommended This UnderTech Undercover Concealment Crew Neck Shirt does provide very good concealment for compact semi-autos and small frame revolvers. I have had my CCW permit for almost 20 years and also teach a Concealed Carry Class at my small sporting goods store and have a good idea of how things are going to work from experience, so had little concern about ordering these from the manufacture’s web site.Pros -+ Concealment; works well if you use compact pistols+ Ambidextrous Access; pockets on each side+ Retention Straps; gives additional peace of mind+ Material; well made and feels good on the skin, but see “Cons” belowCons — Size; this is a “compression shirt” that seem to run small, I am 5′ 10″ and 250 lbs so ordered the XXL (which is my normal shirt size) and it is way too tight. It might not have too bad with the V-Neck but the crew neck choked me. Fortunately this fits my 6′ 1″ 220 lbs son fairly well.Misc -*…

Well made, but I never wear it. I needed a concealment option to wear with a suit and this really looked the part. I work in a warm climate, so I have to have concealment that allows me to take the suit jacket on and off. I’ve chosen a taurus TCP for this purpose because its very small and thin and easier to conceal than my other carry guns.So about the shirt. It’s well made, very well made. I didn’t have the problem that other reviewers had with sizing. I’m in the 190lb, 6′ range. I ordered my normal size and it fit tight because its a compression shirt. They fit tight, they’re suppose to fit tight, hence the word “compression”. What I like about the fact that its a compression shirt is that it holds the gun in place. I was concerned that the weight of the gun would stretch the fabric and allow the gun to move around. This shirt keeps it tight up against you and you would have to be doing some crazy acrobatics to get the gun to move.About concealment… here’s the important…

Another way to carry I debated on the size between M and Large I have a 41 in chest, 5 11″ and 28in waist. I did go with a large but it could have gone either way. Keep in mind if you have anything over a 1lb or so you will get some sag if it’s not tight. This shirt does a great job holding a smaller device. Make sure your device is thin (which is making my doubt my houge grip purchase) since you probably are not going to stand like the guy in the picture and your biceps will rub on you device.Things to considerTeeter up one size if you are close (i.e. 40-41 chest should bump to L at 42inIt needs to be a little tight or it will feel saggyDon’t put a 1911 45ACP with 14 rounds in and think this is the right optionThin and light devices make this very usableThinner is more of a worry than longer. I tend to think a long device like a 26 might be fine tooProsHolds a 16oz device fine. Might even ok with 3.5″ barrels…
